QTS Records & Portfolio
Purposes: The aim of the materials linked below is to enable a record of an ITT trainees progress to be recorded against the QtT Standards, whilst also:
Grouping the Standards into user-friendly sets, page-by-page;
Interpreting the Standards [based on the Handbook and Ofsted guidance]
Giving levels of development [based on Handbook and Ofsted guidance] that should celebrate and encourage progress;
Providing links to sources of evidence;The materials have been extensively trialled in many ITT organisations across the East Midlands, so they work as they stand, but are provided here in a Word version so that you may copy and amend details to suit your own purposes.
There are separate Profile booklets for Early Years [3-7]; Primary [5-11] and Secondary [11-16] programmes, and a general guide on how to use them.
Also attached is a Portfolio guide document for use by ITT trainees.
Outcomes
New versions of these profiles are currently being developed to meet the 2007 Standards and they will be added by August 2007.
