Purposes: The aim of the materials linked
below is to enable a record of an ITT trainee’s progress
to be recorded against the Qualification (Q) Standards, whilst
also:
Grouping the Standards into user-friendly sets, page-by-page;
Interpreting the Standards [based on the Handbook and
Ofsted guidance]
Giving levels of development [based on Handbook and Ofsted
guidance] that should celebrate and encourage progress; Providing
links to sources of evidence;
The materials have been revised to the new, 2007, Q Standards
in two versions. One is by Bishop Grosseteste University College,
which takes each Standard in turn in their three sections.
The other is by Derby University and regroups the 33 Standards
into 9 sections. It is presented in three parts: a Starter
Profile of selected Standards; a complete Q Standards Profile,
and a PDP Evidence file. They are provided here in a Word
version so that you may copy and amend details to suit your
own purposes.
Also attached is the TDA Handbook of Guidance on interpreting
the Standards and a general Portfolio guide document for use
by ITT trainees.
