Commentary:The report must have clear, supportive comments unambiguous and focussed. They should be forthright in terms of giving the trainee a clear perspective of their ability and achievement to date. Positive comments should be made regarding future developments, linked to specific targets.
The report is an assessment against the Standards all judgements must be made against the Standards, as should requirements for improvement.
Good practice should be identified and examples cited.
